Two angled support cables
Problem
A $120\,\mathrm{kg}$ sign hangs motionless from two identical cables, each making $35.0^\circ$ above horizontal. Use an inertial Earth frame with $+x$ right and $+y$ up, take $g=9.80\,\mathrm{m\,s^{-2}}$, and neglect cable mass and wind. Find the tension in each cable.
Hint
Each cable contributes $T\sin35^\circ$ upward.
