Velocity selector direction and speed
Problem
Uniform fields $\mathbf E=(3.00\times10^4\,\mathrm{V\,m^{-1}})\mathbf e_y$ and $\mathbf B=(0.200\,\mathrm T)\mathbf e_z$ form a velocity selector. Find the velocity vector for undeflected particles traveling along the $x$ axis. Does the selected velocity depend on the sign of charge?
Hint
Require the magnetic term to point along $-y$ and match the electric-field magnitude.
